6 inches of snow + a couple inches of ice + no snow plough up the mountain yet means we have not gone into town to make caramels yet and are enjoying being snuggled into our tiny barn.house. there has been so much constant cooking of caramel that we are going to take the time on thanskgiving to give thanks to all our animals more than cook for ourselves. it will be a day of goat mani.pedi’s and tick picking off and then a long hike up the mountain with the goats and the puppies and our thermos of soup. that being said. i do plan on combining tomorrow mornings milk with tomorrow’s eggs to make some goat-nog. i love goat nog.
