You will fall for her blog quickly and find yourselves constantly coming back for more. I found Kate through Maura and am deeply appreciative. Thank you internet, for new friends. I often tell people that we could not be farming were it not for the internet. And not just for the millions of forums dedicated to answering questions all new farmers and old farmers need answered, but also for keeping me company when farming is often very lonely and extremely isolated. We were lucky enough to meet Kate & Nick one afternoon this fall and ever since I often wish we had farms next to each other so that we could both go on vacations and share care for our animals and feel a bit more sane. But in the meantime, I read her blog and feel like I have a farming companion. And that is a lovely thing indeed.
