Here it is. A family portrait on the not-yet-green-grass. The plan is for the barn to go just to the right of the lean-to. Will it be exciting not to lug 5 gallon jugs of water, 8 of them a day to the goats? Yes it will. Will there be all kinds of awesome things happening in our barn? Yes there will. But first, lots of ridiculous infrastructure to try to figure out. Entire pamphlets to read just on the coding for hot water systems in dairy barns…so much legal jargon to get a legal glass of milk.
In the meantime, if you are near Brattleboro - Luke will be reading tonight at the Brooks Library downtown at 7. Info here . Im looking forward to it greatly. A nice reminder that our bodies are not exclusively work horses and that hopefully, with systems set up, a little more art will seep back into our tired souls.
