Lucas’s brother and his lovely lady Tierney (who took this photo) were here this past weekend. They single handedly made this week better by cooking for us all weekend, helping out with chores, and even cleaning our kitchen! Sometimes it is really important for family to come in and take charge. Especially when you and your husband are extremely exhausted and have not had a day off since August 20th.

Surely you remember our Cy, the very first doeling born on the farm. Well, here she is, almost 7 months old, and if you look at her cheeks, very clearly demonstrating how goats ‘chew their cud’.
On another note, we have started to think that Cicada (goat on the right) might be acting as a protector of the herd. She is always out in front giving a stare down.

And, despite their position in the womb as one twisted mess, here is her brother, Tiny Elvis, who had to wait to come out second.
